And I have a project for treatment Cl2 gas by Venturi Scrubber. My project I have 2 Venturi Scrubber. Scrubber I (SC-101) 1. Total capacity of 20%NaOH is 500 lit/min, piping height from ground to spray is 6.3 m. 2. Spray Pattern is Full Cone, 1/2" NPT Pipe size and Angle 120 Degree 3. Capacity 95 lit/min @ 2.7 Bar (6 Units) Scrubber I (SC-201) 1. Total capacity of 20%NaOH is 2,167 lit/min, piping height from ground to spray is 6.3 m. 2. Spray Pattern is Full Cone, 1" NPT Pipe size and Angle 120 Degree 3. Capacity 250 lit/min @ 2.7 Bar (10 Units) Remark: In scrubber (SC-201) you can separate the vertical pump to 2 Units @ 1,084 lit/min per unit and I design head in each pump is 40 m for SC-101 and SC-201 Specification information of Vertical Pump The liquid is 20% NaOH. Temperature is 40 Deg. C In the system have the fume Cl2 concentration is 498,554.91 mg/m3 Manufacturer shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience it manufacturing the product of the specified size and type. Recycle Pumps: Vertical centrifugal wet pit type sump pumps. Design pump for heavy duty use. Make pumps of PP, CPVC, Kynar or FRP. Make shaft of suitable metal alloys covered with a plastic sleeve. Build recycle pumps to deliver scrubbing solution at a sufficient head and quantity create a solution draft of chlorine gas from storage room. Make sure pump serve as a standby unit. Use pressure switch (specified hereinafter) sense flow to irrigation header, and have it wired to stop first recycle pump of low flow and to start second recycle pump. Use rotameter to measure flow rate. Mount recycle pumps on top of recycle tank. Build pumps so as not to require mechanical shaft seals or packings; hower furnish a lightly loaded vapor seal to protect external bearings and motor from fumes. Impellers: Semi-open type, dynamic and statically balanced and second held to shaft. Furnish discharge connections with CPVC flanges, face and drilled to 125 ANSI Standard. External shaft bearing: A combination radial and thrust bearing alloy accurate adjustment of impeller clearance removing pump installation. Mount external hearing in a dustproof and moisture proof enclosure, and lubricate. Provide means to prevent excessive greasing of bearing, removable plug opposite grease fitting. Sleeve bearings: An inert ceramic inner sleeve and a reinforced Teflon outer sleeve lubricated and cooled by the liquid pumped. Provide all require coolant piping. Provide plastic or plastic-coated suction strainer on each pump. Make all bearing casing or pump body bolts and nuts of heavy cross section plastic. Provide a polypropylene manhole cover plate with gaskets, amply designed to secure and support weight of each pump.
