Will need your recommendations how best to seal one end of extruded silicone rubber tubing before heat curing to thermoset point. Think of product as a sock to cover hot metal rods. Guesstimate temperature requirement will be less than 500degF. Collecting data to better specify temperature requirement and working on preliminary dimension drawings. 3 inch ID probably maximum required. Length maximum 12 inches. Initial quantity (max) will be 50 thousand units depending on budget and cost quote. Will need your recommendations on durometer requirement, tubing wall thickness, and coloring options.
